Get Paid Web Hosting

I’d say that if you are serious to turn blogging into an income generating machine for you, then you’d definitely need to get a paid web hosting to start off with. I’ve previously started my blogging journey through free platforms but regretted it and felt that it was a complete waste of time.

In my article here, I explain why it is so important to have a paid web hosting for your blog.

My blog is hosted with Bluehost. In the past, I’ve hosted my blog with another web hosting provider. But unfortunately, the hosting was very slow to the point that I was not able to load my even my homepage for less than 5 minutes!

So after using Bluehost, I never looked back. I have never had problem loading my website and whenever I happen to have any problem with my blog or website in general, they have a very helpful customer support team that are there 24/7 to assist. I cannot explain just how much money I’ve managed to save by having their customer support team helping me to fix my web technical problems whenever then arise!

If you are wondering how to set-up a paid web hosting with Bluehost website, then go to my article here.

Find A Money Making Niche

If you’re looking to make serious money from blogging, then it’s really important to choose a niche to focus on that will be profitable. This is because if you are blogging on topics that attract people who are not willing to pay money, then no matter how hard you work on growing your blog readership, you will still not be able to make money from it. My eBook entitled, ‘Secrets To Finding A Super Attractive And Profitable Niche’ explained step-by-step how you can quickly find a niche that will attract people who are willing to pay so that you can potentially grow your blog to eventually earn a side or full time income.

Create Useful Content

We all know that content is king when it comes to the blogging world. But just any content won’t do the trick if you want to see your blog grow.

Like I said earlier, if you want your blog to grow, you’ll need to focus on a profitable niche. An equally important thing you need to do to attract the right people to read and follow your blog is to create content that your target audience will actually love reading.

Popular posts that often get more reader engagement are such as lists, how to’s, tutorials, resources or link lists, checklists, reviews, case studies, controversial posts and interviews – just to name a few!

Most importantly is to write on topics that are relevant to your target audience. Because when you do this, your readers will want to come back to your blog again and again to get more information on the topics that are of interest to them.

Learn Blogging SEO Tips & Tricks

Writing great content without having an audience is very discouraging especially for a blogger who puts his or her whole heart and soul into creating purpose-driven content that is valuable. Having paid advertisements for each of your blog posts can be very costly and it’s unreasonable to pay that sort of money just to publicize your posts.

So to get more people to look and read your blog articles, you will definitely benefit by learning how to use search engine optimization (SEO) tips and tricks that can help you to reach more people who are interested in reading the blog articles that you’ve written.

With SEO, you’ll be able to target specific keywords that are most commonly used by your target audience whenever they search something in their web browsers. The target keywords have to be related to your article of course, or else you won’t be able to rank your article high in search engines anyway!

Build An Email List

Many people who happen to stumble upon your blog when searching for solutions for their challenges might not ever come back to your blog – unless you work on ways in which you can remind them about you and your blog existence.

So the best way to keep in touch with your blog visitors is by building a quality email list. With an email list consisting of readers who are interested in the niche that you’re in, it will be easier to invite people to come and visit your blog again and again.

You can also use this email list to sell stuff to your subscribers later on.

The benefits of having an email list are endless. If you are serious in building an email list to jumpstart your blog success, then I’d highly recommend for you to go to a free training on how to grow an email list.

Sell Something On Your Blog

The fastest way you can start earning money from blogging is by selling something. You can either sell your own products or other people’s products.

Many top bloggers initially start selling other people’s products. This is called affiliate marketing. To earn from affiliate marketing, you will need to introduce other people’s products through your blog. As an affiliate marketer, you’ll be given a link to promote your affiliate offers. And when someone buys from your affiliate link, you will get a commission for making that sale.

Once you’ve gained confidence in selling through your blog, you might want to start creating and selling your own products. Many top bloggers have made their fortunes through selling eBooks, online courses and membership sites. This might be something you can consider as well.

Besides selling digital products, you can also offer services – like coaching, consultancy or freelance services to your readers.

You can also sell physical products either as an affiliate or as a vendor. The best ways to set-up an eCommerce store is by using Amazon, Shopify, Etsy, or eBay.

And if you’re selling through your own website, then you can also use the WooCommerce plugin.

If you want to expand your ideas on selling stuff online beyond just blogging, then you can check out my eBook on ‘Multiple Income Ideas‘. In this eBook, I will expand your mind on potential ways you can turn your talents into money-making machines online.

How to Earn From Advertising

Once you managed to build a large following for your blog, you can start earning extra income through advertising.

In order for people to want to place their banner ads in your blog, you would need to show people proof of your blog viewership. If you blog has hardly any visitors, chances are nobody will want to put their banner ads on your blog. But if you have lots of viewers, people will be ‘fighting’ to get a spot at advertising in your blog. That’s for sure!

But what if you do not have a huge amount of following for your blog yet? Then my advice to you is to start by having Google Adsense displayed on your blog. When people click on ads displayed by Google Adsense on your blog, you’ll be able to earn money per click.

However, when using advertising to earn extra income, please bear in mind that having these ads displayed on your blog will move people away from your blog. So they might not stay on your blog as long as you want them to read your articles. And the amount of money per click that you get will not be that much anyway.

So proceed with caution when using this method of making money through blogging.

Sponsored Money Making Blogging Posts

A better method compared to having display ads and pay-per-click ads on your blog is to write sponsored blog posts in return for cash.

This will also require you to have a good amount of viewership before you can attract any sponsor to having blog posts written about their products or services.

Most often, the sponsor will have a business that has products or services that appeals to your blog readers. And what you will do is write a review about what they have to offer or an article that relates to what they are selling.

What to do if you can’t afford your pet any more

Reading Time: 4 mins What happens when you can’t afford your pet? Shelters have reportedly been receiving more and more unwanted animals as the cost of living crisis affects millions across the UK.   As fuel and bill prices rise along with grocery costs, many people just can’t justify spending money on an animal as well.   Jo Evans, who manages a shelter for the RSPCA near Exeter, told the BBC that people are struggling to pay for vet bills: “We are beginning to see people say they just can’t afford to own an animal so they have to rehome it,” said Evans, before noting that people should take the time to understand the cost involved before they take on a new pet.   According to Pet Keen , an estimated 2.7 million animals a year in the UK are being taken in by shelters: mostly dogs and cats but also fish and small mammals, which is financially stretching the shelters. And with the cost of living crisis, the problems are piling up.   PANDEMIC PETS In ...
